Abstrakt

W artykule poruszono kwestię kosztów biograficznych ponoszonych przez osoby zaangażowane społecznie i aktywistów. Na podstawie analizy narracji biograficznych zebranych od osób reprezentujących różne pokolenia aktywistów i osób zaangażowanych społecznie, działających w różnych sektorach, organizacjach i dziedzinach życia społecznego, wskazano, że istnieją koszty działania, które są silnie zależne od kontekstów historycznych i rodzaju prowadzonej działalności, ale także istnieje wiele kosztów społecznego działania, które są kosztami dzielonymi, niezależnymi od kontekstów. Dodatkowo ukazano, że istotne znaczenie ma to, że część ponoszonych przez osoby zaangażowane społecznie kosztów może nie być uświadamiana lub może być uświadomiona po długim czasie. Autorka ukazuje koszty jako dynamiczny układ współzależnych czynników, którego badanie wymaga skupienia zarówno na kwestiach jednostkowych/indywidualnych (biografiach), jak i na kwestiach społecznych.
