„KAPITAŁ AKTYWIZACYJNY” W POLU SPOŁECZNYM POWIATOWEGO URZĘDU PRACY – O POMAGANIU OSOBĄ BEZROBOTNYM

Abstract

The author discusses the important problem of the emergence of a new paradigm of the state social policy (the active social policy – ASP) in Poland and its assisting and social consequences. The author also constructs the concept of a new form of symbolic capital which is called “activating capital”. Its acquisition and “practicing” take place primarily in contacts between unemployed people and Job Centers. He explains clearly the essence of the new “solutions” of this policy and indicates what a critical researcher of social phenomena should really focus on. [...] The text deserves the attention of readers also because just few people have taken so far the research on this important issue.
