Abstract

In the first part of the article the author presents the life of Bronisława Szczepaniec, who lived in Nowy Sącz from 1903 to 1996. Apart from her biography, the author also describes her literary output and opinions of people who cooperated with her. In the second part we can read about timeless features of a cultural animator based on the biography of Szczepańcówna. Te history of Bronisława Szczepaniec and the analysis of her characteristics are preceded by information about biographical learning, based both on one’s own biography as well as other biographies. In the summary the author notices the importance of forgotten biographies of local animators.
